You're absolutely correct, I made the mistake of thinking that by paying my support I was supporting Softimage.
I think I would've had better luck putting that money towards winning the lottery so I could buy back Softimage from Autodesk. Buying into the suite was my biggest mistake... I was happy to pay for people to be working on Softimage because that is the program I use out of the suite.
