I'm not sure what's wrong with these buggers, but someone here might have an idea.
I have a file that, every time I re-open it, has all of its bone chains mangled. I've made sure that the IK blending is set to 0 (so they behave as pure FK chains), I've tried setting the reference pose when they are at their correct locations, doing a Transform/Set Neutral Pose (which stores their new pose as 0, but they're still mangled on File/Open), and nuking all Static Kinestate objects from all bones. Nothing seems to help. At one point, the bones had keyframes on them, but those were also deleted. Still, it's a no-go.
I've proceeded to replace all bone chains from the file and replace them with hierarchies of nulls (since all I need is FK chains), but I'd still like to know what's going on so I can fix it and avoid it in the future. Any ideas? Thanks!
