Hi Tony,

>From what I recall, a lens shader is added to your pass setup once you add
physical sky/sun. The lens shader scales down the super-bright sky values to
'display-able' values. The incidence shader is not going to black, just
getting scaled down massively.

Try disconnecting the lens shader to see this. You'll need to rebalance your
incidence or sky shader setup if you want both to appear like you'd like to.

Hi All,

I've set up a scene where I'm using an incidence node to control day/night
terminator of the Earth.

In the incidence node, I set the Mode to Surface>Lights. I originally used
the default Directional light in the new scene, but now I what to use a
Physical Sun & Sky lighting setup. However, when I enable it, the incidence
node is render black (see attached).

Anyone know how to fix this?

Ideally I'd like to do this scene in VRay for SI, however, I haven't figured
out a way to replicate what the incidence node is doing (as VRay doesn't
support incidence nodes). Help on this would also be welcome.

Cheers

Tony
