Third point says: " Customers will still be able to transfer their existing licenses to new computers, if required, after April 30, 2016." Personally, I don't think there is or will be any reason for ADSK to not issue new license files if a costumer changed the network card or the license server itself. I got a new lic file a few month ago and I was never on support contract/subscription. Regardless of the above, the license file depends on the machine name and the MAC ID. Both can be changed if neccessary. So even you will_not get a new lic file, you can use the old one. Just google for changing mac ID. I have a hypothetically question regarding Soft 2015 license Our support/maintenance will be up in 1 month for Soft 2015/Maya 2015 and since we bought it mostly for staying with Soft, we don't see a good reason to continue the support. But what would happened if the license server computer dies and since the license is linked to the network chip on the motherboard, will Autodesk help to transfer the licenses to another computer if one is not under support?
