I have seen similar behavior when using PowerSDR with the Si570, although as I remember it was "fixed" by restarting PowerSDR and possibly by rebooting Windows. To make sure that your Si570 parallel port control system is stable, you can try it with Winrad, with the WB8LGA DDS VFO utility (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/softrock40/files/WB8LGA/), or with Guido's si570.exe program (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/softrock40/files/Si570/) To use Si570 parallel port control in Winrad, you need to go through a couple of steps as described in my writeup at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/softrock40/files/Si570%20Parallel%20Port%20Control/ Lyle, K0LR
