Hi Tony, I had two si570 from you and I have both running but with different behaviour. None of the two has the negative output available. One works in the Light -xtall as LO and the frequency is swithchable in accordance with the frequency list. The second one is on the little board and runs quite hot and stops after some time; thermal shut-down?. It gices, when running, also a nice spectrum of markers which extend byond 2GHz. with the even harmonics much lower in amplitude which is natural for a real symmetrical squarewave. Outpuyt at the ground wave is abot 8dBm and -15dBm at about 1024MHz. This needs a filter for serious work on the desired frequency. Could it be that the production process is not yet completely under control. If you want a picture of the spectrum send me a normal e-mail so tha I can add it to the return mail. ^&3, Henk, PA0KEP.
