In your previous mail you wrote: Compliance with RTP/RTCP applications what does this mean? => a pair of even/odd succeeding port number. The reason is some bad RTP/RTCP software expect to get an even port number for RTP and use the following (odd) port number for RTCP... Silly but common in the real world.
