Chris,
I think that this topic came up awhile back (well, maybe eons ago).
The consensus was to torque the head bolts down to the proper specs,
install engine, and ride away. No need to retorqe the engine at all.
Not sure if you could heat up the entire engine to operating temps with
either of your pyro-weapons. Find an oven big enough and heat it up to
operating temp...;-}
Me, just torque the head and be done with it.
