I think the medical condition could have been controlled. After all,
wasn't he on medication and wasn't it reported that he had *failed* to take
the proper meds?
If that's the case, it's still his fault - but the big thing here is he
had a known and horrible disregard for laws as his driving records show and
the authorities just kept letting him get away - only this time he got away
with murder!
