Having been a diabetic for 38 years, I know what a low blood sugar is
like. _IF_ it was that severe he should have pulled over and eaten some
candy or something that a responsible diabetic would have with him. Some
of you who have ridden with me know that I carry juice with me on trips
for just such situations. Further, I'm sure he is a type II diabetes
which is less prone to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) unless he took his
meds and didn't eat anything
That said, I think the sentence is average for the type of offense as
many judges/juries say "there , but for the Grace of God, go I" Be
truthful guys and gals, how many of you have gotten behind the wheel of
your car after a beer or two. We are more agitated because he hit "one of
us" Is his sentence just? Ask his victems family. Or, put yourself in
his shoes and ask if the punishment suits the crime of running a stop
sign that just happened to have a biker proceding through. I know I've
blown threw a couple in my life, thankj God there was no one in the
intersection.
And since someone mentioned his name, how much time did Ted Kenedy
serve.....about 100 years in the Senate

Don,
who is over his rant now
