First bike was a home-made mini bike back in 1965. Built from dads old go-kart wheels and a direct-drive 125cc Victa lawnmower engine. Graduated from that to a 1948 500cc side-valve BSA (rigid tail, girder forks) Then to a 1969 Yamaha DT1 250. Then to a 1975(?) Honda XL 250. My first registered bike. Then 1973 air-cooled RD350. (which I still own) Then came the Rickman CR750. (still own) Then K2 CB750. (awaiting some $$$ as my wife's ride)
