Ah, fond memories. Back in my high school days (late 60's), a friend bought a brand new Suzuki X6 Hustler and I instantly fell in love with it. 250cc's of two stroke power and a 6 speed tranny. I used to go all over the place with him on that bike until that faithful day when he asked if I wanted to take it out for a ride by myself. Oh man, did I ever! I learned to ride on that bike and it was some fun! Later on I had to go to summer school to get my diploma and my grandmother promised to buy me a motorcycle if I graduated. Talked her into buying it before graduation so I would have transportation. By that time, Honda CB-350's were all the rage and that is what I got. Learned a lot on that bike, found out the front brake will get you horizontal in a hurry on wet pavement. Took my first long distance ride, Cincinnati to Illinois. Plus rode many a female types on the back, including my future ex-wife! Forced to sell it after the first baby and it was a sad day indeed...
