Some of you (you know who you are ;-) have requested photos of this funny frame brace on my early CB750 frame.
http://denizen224.home.comcast.net/images/standard.jpg Brace typical of my other CB750s. It has about a 3" rise and is rather squared off. http://denizen224.home.comcast.net/images/unusual.jpg Brace in question. It has only about a 1.5" rise. The crossmember is formed from a single piece, not a "regular" one that's been cut and flattened out. Its welds are comparable to the rest on the frame. The plate on the top with the crosstube at the back doesn't have such good welds (looks more like a later kludge) but isn't ~that~ much worse than some others I see on the frame. Original? Kludge? Half-'n-half? Any thoughts are welcomed.
