1. boot from cdrom in single user mode
ok boot cdrom -s

2. mount root filesystem (assuming it is on /dev/dskc0t0d0s0) onto the /a 
directory
# mount /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 /a

3. edit /etc/passwd (not sure if vi works in single user mode)
# ed /a/etc/passwd

4. reboot
# init 6
