Indeed I checked there first, but as I pointed out in my original
post, although there is an abundance of posts relating to this tool,
there are non recent - and worse still - no definitive answer which
conforms to the parameters of the problem I encountered.

Posting to the list (in this instance) I regarded as a last resort,
having done - in total - several days of rather detailed searching for
a possible solution. Happily I'm not one of those "I can't be bothered
to RTFM/Google, I'll just let someone else answer my questions for me"
Nooooo.

Incidentally, I get the impression that advice to the majority of
people is "patch, patch, patch" which I can assure you I most
definitely did.

Anyway, not to be ungracious in any way, my thanks to you for posting
a potential help resource.
