Under log / log settings there's the option for the alerts / snmp traps section that has the checkbox for blocked web sites - I'd assume that should do it. I don't bother, since so many people end up with a blocked site that wasn't a real blocked site (anything with certain words in it, for instance, when some search engines concatenate the search strings and it creates all sorts of interesting combinations - some of which are in my custom filters) so I can't say definitively that this will do what you want - though it looks like it should.

OMG I'd kill for a script like that. One other question. Is there a way to have the sonicwall send alerts via email when someone goes to a naughty site or do I just have check the syslog or sonicwall logs myself? -----Original Message----- From: Arnold, Paul [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, August 12, 2002 12:25 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [SonicWALL]- Content Filter. Chris We had also put in a neat little script (when we used static IPs) >that would include the person's name and picture from their employee badge >who owned that IP with >the message..
