The talks between the two countries aimed at strengthening bilateral trade relations were indefinitely postponed as South Sudan's delegation could not turn up. Cleophas Ndorere, a senior officer in the Ugandan Ministry of Trade and Industry, says the meeting had to be postponed because officials from the new nation, South Sudan were taken up by other duties. However, Ndorere on Thursday said a new date will be set for the talks soon.
