More than one thousand returnees are on their way to Juba. The South
Sudanese had been stranded in Renk, Upper Nile State for the past one
month.

The International Organisation for Migration - IOM - eventually
managed to secure a convoy of three passenger barges and four luggage
barges to transport the returnees. The IOM has released a statement
saying most of the returnees are travelling to Bahr el Ghazal as their
final destination while others will complete their journey in Juba.
