The area Member of Parliament in the Central Equatoria State Assembly Noel Malish Scopas, said the heavy rains destroyed the school, along with other houses, as well as crops. "The rain came very heavy with wind where all grass starched houses' roofs were removed and the school was completely demolished to the ground," said Malish. The destruction has left pupils no option but to remain at home. Malish said this is the second time his area has experienced such heavy down pours.
