UNMISS to establish 28 support bases around the country

The Special Representative of the UN Secretary General to South Sudan, Hilde Johnson, has said that the UN mission in the country plans to establish 28 county support bases by 2014. Speaking at the Governors' Forum on Friday, Ms. Johnson said the support bases will be manned with teams that will assist in the strengthening of local government.
