Gazillions of stupid proprietary codecs are already covered by
FFMpeg. No need to turn SoX into a clone of FFMpeg and run into
legal issues. Plus there is LAME to decode proprietary MP3.

Opus, Vorbis, Flac, Wavpack. Perfectly sufficient.

Please keep SoX free from proprietary codecs.
