The Tellarite would be horrified, thought Kitanya, smiling a little at that.
But Aurelius knew where she was, and she sent him a coded message with her
ship identifier and the private channel she would be on for priority
messages, something she also sent to M'Rrenn.
It felt good to be at the controls of the sleek craft, more like a skiff
than anything, fast and responsive. Her piloting skills were a little
rusty, but hey came back quickly, and soon she had a good handle on the
craft. Warp travel at her control made her smile again, and she felt much
more alive than she had in Spacedock. Although Triangle was also a
spacestation, it was as different from Spacedock as a Klingon targ was from
a Terran dog. But there was nothign quite like the feel of a craft at your
control, and she relished it.
She set her course for the Cardassian border and made best speed for the
Spec Ops outpost.
