slightest impression that he was entertaining her as she were a guest, not
the commander of special operations.

        He continued, "We could go into what ever level of detail into the
cardassian movements as you wish, sir...."  she was not sure whether he
was leaving room for her ignorance (not meant in the dictionary meaning-
not aware of the situation, but rather the more common, insulting meaning)
or for her prepardness- aka he read the reports.  He cold play it either
way, but she was reasonably sure that, although he was polite, that he was
not too happy with her presence here nor did he think highly of her.
