SPD: David/Joe/Audra

Audra swallowed what was in her mouth and looked to her two dinner partners.
"Well, it would appear that he is much more friendly as a waiter than I
would expect considering he is a Nausican," she said with a smile.

"At least he's not shooting at us." David grumbled to himself and chuckled
as he ate.

"That he is.� I have no idea where the proprietor found him, but I
would guess that he is one of a kind..."

"So, Commander...� How did a lady like you get to become Ops
Manager here at the home port?"� Joe said trying to stir up some other
conversation.

"It was a little bit of luck, I guess.  Someone noticed how well I performed
at the Academy.  I was assigned to the station when  the position was
available.  I am actually an Ensign, but my current rank is brevit."

"And how is it working directly with Admiral Renaud?"

"He is great to work for.  He gives me the leeway to do my job the best way
I can.  He is formal.  I dont really see him as much as one would expect,
though.  He is very busy with his own responsibilities."
