K'Tael tapped his PADD a few times to bring up the case summary he had
created defining the work so far. He handed the PADD to Admiral t'Llweiir.
"We obviously have talked with Dr. Brennan. He has stated repeatedly that he
did not attack you. We have examined the visuals from the suite for that
time period and they have surprisingly proved inconclusive. As have a number
of different means to examine would should have provided clear evidence as to
the identity of the attack."
t'Llhweiir listened. Whatever her opinions, she kept them to herself. At
the moment, she was there was as the victim of an attack. For the moment.
"Thank you, Commander. Do either of you have any questions for me about
the attack?"
K'Tael did speak up at this point. "Sir, I have not had an opportunity to
talk more fully to you about the experience. What do you remember about the
attack?"

(ooc: i'm going to push this a little because chris wants to see some of
the fireworks before he leaves.)
When they were done, she said, "Commander, excuse us, please." The was
no doubt that the request was an order.
The Klingon nodded before collecting his PADD and leaving the room. He
wondered how much of the next conversation would concern him.
t'Llhweiir stood. Slowly. And as she did, her countenance froze into a
cold mask. "Admiral Renaud," she said formally, coldly, "I am very
concerned about your 'actions' during this investigation. You placed it
in the hands of the commander, but it is ultimately your responsibility to
see that it is handled properly.
"The fact that weeks have passed with no resolution suggests it has not
been. It suggests that Star Fleet officers--even flag officers-- can
be attacked without impugnity.
"You assured me that you did not leak the story. Very well. What, then
exactly *have* you done?"
