> K'Tael did speak up at this point. "Sir, I have not had an opportunity to
> talk more fully to you about the experience. What do you remember about the
> attack?"

She raised an eyebrow. Had no opportunity?!? She was here; he was
here. What opportunity had he needed?

K'Tael could tell she was not pleased with the statement.  Somehow Vulcanoids
had the ability to say so much just by raising that annoying eyebrow.

Instead of making that point, she dispassionately told him how she had
gone to the holodeck and activated an exercise program. A single guard
was posted outside because she had managed to evade the others. Shortly
into the exercise, she noticed that elements of the programming had been
changed. She had attempted to close it, but her command was disregarded.
After facing progressively more difficult simulated fighters, the assassin
she had fought once before stood before her. Both armed with bat'leths,
they engaged each other, neither giving quarter.

"Finally, I... wounded her," t'Llhweiir continued. "Injured myself, I
collapsed. Soon afterwards, Admiral Brennan found us. Apparently, her
injuries was not as extensive as I thought. She attacked Admiral Brennan.

"That is my last conscious memory of the attack."

K'Tael nodded.  "Well, I would think this statement alone would clear Dr.
Brennan.  The only way he could have been involved with the incident would
have been to order the woman to attack you."

(response)

"Admiral, I have a feeling that you are holding something back.  I am not
even sure what it has to do with, but I think that it is something that would
help us more fully clear Dr. Brennen in your attack."

Lorin waited until she left and then simply called VERY loud, "Commander,
come back in here now please."

He came in and he closed and sealed the door.

"Damnit she just threatened me. Something is wierd here....I just can't
place my finger on it. I've asked for all files on the Doctor-see what you
can find and let's finish this...understood?" Lorin was downright pissed.

K'Tael nodded.  "I also have a feeling that she is not telling us something,
though, I am not sure that it is something that will be in a file.  I am
positive that I will most likely  not have the clearence necessary to access
it."
