"The attack was a matter of..." she stopped, looking for the closest word
in Standard, "... honor.  After all of these years, someone is still
displeased with my decision to leave the Tal Shiar.  They sent an assassin
on the anniversary of my departure to correct the dishonor by killing me.
She failed the first time and made a second attempt.

"Admiral Brennan had nothing to do with it."
