Sam put an arm around her, as a show to everyone in the establishment
that things were indeed ok, and to the Admiral that they were a "couple".
At least that was the party line until they had some alone time to talk
things over.
"I think that we should go and talk to the Admiral over there at that
table. " Sam said calmly.
"Nice try, but I don't think so." Garibaldi countered. "He is under enough
scrutiny as it is being the CinC with all of Starfleet cracking and with
this nonsense concerning Doctor Brennan. We will meet you both in a more
privite setting. Down below sections of the station in two (2) hours.
Dress casual. We will meet at the very last cargo hold. Can't miss it, it
looks burned." he added casually so any one who may catch an odd word will
not know that there is *something wrong*.
Sam looked at Res for her reaction before he replied.
