The computer verified her identity.  "This way," the guard said.

She led Holt through the second door and down a cooridor to an office with
only a number id.  After activating an annunciator, the door slid open,
and the guard stood aside to allow Holt to enter.

A human male stood up from a non-descript desk in an non-descript,
impersonal office.  "Lt. Holt, welcome," he said.  "I am Lt. Rivest.  Come
in and tell me what you need."
