      "Again, my feelings are not necessarily supported by solid evidence...  But these beings are intelligent, very intelligent, and with this level of intelligence normally comes patience.  The real question is how much patience do they have and how ready are they now?  I would hazard to say that we have months at the least.  Say 6 to 8 months.  Perhaps a year, but not much more than that.  That is why I proposed this mission.  We have to know more about them.  How ready are they?  What are their exact goals?  What is the state of the opposition on their side, if there is any? Plus many more questions.  If possible I would like to engage them to test their technology, but I fear that if they know  or suspect that we know the little bit that we do it may cause them to strike sooner before we can properly prepare."  he said seriously.
