He gave her a big smile in return, and then walked out with her, hading not with her, but to his own office.

Her aide tried to say something in return, but had no time.  She was gone before she would get anything out.

<[Hey, he likes me, so I get off easy.]> he replied in their native toung, complete with toothy Caitian grin.  He continued, <[He is expecting you, but he has not finished a call that he is on.  Go ahead in, he is eager to hear what you have to say.]>

>
> <[Thank you,]> she replied and headed into the Admiral's office. She

He came in to hear...  "Thank you Ambassador.  I am glad that you liked the proposals.  I will most definately keep you up to date.  Good day, sir."

Turning his attention to the officer that came in, "Admiral Kitanya, Please come in and have a seat.  There is no need for that level of formality within the confines of my office." he responded more casually than he was talking on the comm with the Ambassador.

>

>
"Thank you for the vote of confidence, but I fear that the press and my critics will not see it that way.  Is that what you wanted to come up and talk about?"
>
> "No, actually I'm herrre to see you unofficially about the situation along

>

"Ah the cat comes out of the bag, pun intended.  What doyou want to talk about this topic that I am not supposed to know about?"  By his tone, and perhaps a few other sensory methods, Kitanya could tell that he was not happy about the situation.  Particularly the part about him not being officially briefed.  This could prove to be a very interesting talk.  Particularly the official briefing......
