Carrhae acted quickly. She prepared a probe and loaded it with a
recording and the following message: "Admiral Lasiter, I have detected a
Star Fleet vessel running silent and presumably on course to my planned
destination. The information included with this message contains the
results of the passive scan and computer analysis. It is my intent to
follow the ship and ascertain its true purpose.

"It is very possible that I will not be able to 'sit in' on tomorrow's
meeting. Like the ship, I will need to run silent to avoid detection.
You should, however, hear from me within 48 hours of this recording.

"t'Llhweiir out."

With that, she launched the probe. It was set to hold position for one
hour, then jump to warp. Once it reached Spacedock, it would relay its
information only to Lasiter's voice command.

She set Delon's course and speed to follow the James Mason.

t'Llhweiir ends
