<Life signs on the James Mason?>

Carrhae made sure that Delon's computer was capturing everything. She
began to think through some options. She knew she was on her own here,
but she ahd to stop that transfer.

One way or the other.

She scanned the James Mason for an uninhabited location close to the
transporter they were using.

Then, she took Delon to the edge of his transporter range. Carrhae said,
<Computer, continue scanning the Cardassian ship. If it leaves dock
before I give the countercommand, fire disruptors at its engineering
section until disabled.>

<response?>

She closed her eyes and focused to activate the implant in her brain that
controlled the ring. After running through a quick diagnostic, she opened
her eyes. She had to blink several times to adjust to the enhanced
visuals and could not help a brief grimace at the headache that
accompanied its use. It was Tal Shiar issue, and Carrhae suspected that
her 1/4 human physiology was not completely compatible with it.

Lastly, she encoded a message to Lasiter with everything she had
discovered and sent it via subspace. She laid in a new position for Delon
within firing range of the Cardassian ship. It would go to that position
10 secs after she transported off.

<Activate transporter.>

<as someone we know and love would say, eh?>
