Once properly restrained and secured in a Security interrogation room, he
called his lawyer. It took him about 15 minutes to arrive. Lt. Fenton...
"What is the basis for this charge Commander?" Lt. Fenton asked
upon entering the interrogation room. He was polite, but firm.
K'Tael handed Fenton a PADD with a copy of the search warrents that had been
used in examing Edwards' quarters and lockers. There was also a complete
list of all substances and items found and taken from locations with scan
records and pictures included.
Just then a comm channel opened from Ops. "Firehawk to K'Tael."
"K'Tael here, Commander. Go ahead." The Klingon knew that the lawyer and
his client were going to get this information anyway so he figured that they
might as well be present when he received it.
"I have the bank account information. It does show massive deposits to
Edwards' account just before and after the time of the shuttle bombing
incident."
K'Tael eyed Edwards and Fenton. "Understood, Commander, please download a
copy of all pertinent information to the Security databas immediately.
K'Tael out."
"I will show you those records as soon as they have been downloaded,
gentlemen." It was a promise that he kept.
