"A moment with my client, Commander. Alone if you please." Fenton
replied after one good look at his client.
K'Tael nodded and stepped outside of the conference room.
The two started talking the very instant that K'Tael left the room and the
doors shut. They talked for an incredibly long 15 minutes. Then there was
a bang on the door. Fenton was ready to get moving with the interrogation.
Upon K'Tael's return, Fenton said, "Commander I have spoken to my
client, and he is not admitting to anything. Evidence can be interrupted in
any number of ways, and the only way that is important is just how a jury
chooses to. Now, if you have some questions or an offer perhaps my client
will be able to answer some questions."
"I admit that our case is not exactly airtight, but it would most likely be
enough to get him on some charges. I do have some questions, though. It
might help in limiting his sentence." K'Tael glanced toward Edwards. "To
start, where did you get the Venasian explosives?"
