"You are a patient one, perhaps too much so. There are those that have been
waiting for a very long time. They may not be able to be held back. I do agree that
we should give the CinC an oppertunity to either side with us or against us. He
deserves that much. However, once his intentions are known we must be in a position
to do something. Opinions?" Kettering replied.

"Kettering you sissy. Why do you wait? You know him. You served wtih him. Ty is
even his brother. His intentions can be predicted from what you know of him. Tell us
know what he will do." Karachi demanded.

Ty replied in his normal manner, half serious, "The only thing that is certain is
that there is no telling what the CinC will or will not care about on any given day.
Basically, it depends."

Simmons closed the discussion, "It is decided. We wait until someone can approach
Lasiter the CinC and report back to us."

There was some moaning about the remark.

Kettering stood and spoke loudly over the dim of the whispered complaints, "My mind is
made up, and the debate is over. If we wish to return Starfleet back to it's core
values, we must act from the moral high ground, not the thickets. He gets the
oppertunity to turn us down. If he does just that, then we take him down. First by
reputation, then we remove him from command. I am departing tomorrow afternoon,
secretly of course. Tyrus Lasiter speakes in my place. End the infighting now. So
who will talk to him..." he turned to Kitanya.

"You are it. It was your suggestion, and you are a member of SF Command. Let
Tyrus know what he says as soon as you talk to him. He will be intown for the next
several weeks..."
