Commanders Dais and Gariabldi headed out from their meeting place, where
they had just ended their strategy session. It was time to move on to the
main show itself.
Arriving about 10 minutes early, the two were shown into the embassy and
into a conference room. It was rather comfortable, and tea was served.
After a few short minutes the Ambassador entered with the courier and
embassy's Chief of Security and Chief of Staff. Obviously the meeting was
now stacked against the two from Starfleet..... Upon the arrival of the
unexpected number of Bajorans, Joe leaded over to Dais whispering, "You
start off, and put them at ease. I'll come in with a few shots and you
react accordingly to them. I am sure that they will be almost rude."
"I would like to start by thanking all of you for taking the time to meet
with us. I am sure that our talks here will be of mutual benefit to all
involved. Please take a seat."
The newcomers came in and sat...
"Commander Dais, LT. Commander Gariabldi I am sure that you remember my Chief of
Staff. Allow me to introduce my Chief of Security, Mr. Relik and our Courier Mr.
Allso. I will not be staying, but I wanted to make introductions and make sure that
we are all on the same page. This is a courtesy more than anything else, and the
investigation has been turned over to us....."
The Trill nodded to the Bajoran dignitaries as they were named. "That as the
agreement, Mister Ambassador. I am sure that you will find that Mr. Garibaldi and
myself have placed the investigation in the hands of the Bajoran staff and will make
sure to forward any requests, inquiries, and opinions toward them."
"Good. Now then, good day Commanders..." with that out fo the way the Ambassador
left. Three to two, better odds.
"Where do you want to begin, Commander Dais?" asked the Chief of Staff.
