> Cooperation is the order of the day, so we shall cooperate. However,

>
> He turned to Allso. "Mr. Allso, can I ask what your general duties for
the
> Embassy are?" It was time to cool things down a little.
>
> Tension still being rather high, Allso looked to Rivik before answering.
> Rivik in kind nodded that it was ok to answer.
>
> "I am one of the diplomatic couriers. My responsibilities are to

>
> "How often would you say you travel to and from this station?"
>
> "That varies, sir. It would be weeks before I have to travel, and it
could
> be weeks before I get a chance to spend more than a hand full of hours

>
> "Do you visit a number of Bajoran consulates or are your duties reserved

>
> "My duties take me to various Bajoran diplomatic stations, including
Bajor,
> DS9, Earth, Cardassia Prime, and the Romulan homeworlds. "
>
> "What would be your usual passage itinerary be from Bajor to the station?"
>
>
> Before Allso could answer, Relik jumped in, "That is not relevant here
> Commander, and it poses an unnecessary security risk to our diplomatic

>
> Joe did not like that answer, and voiced his exception to it.
>
> "This is not an interview with the press, sir. This is an investigation,

>
> "I am sure that you believe that, Mr. Garibaldi. However, I am not sure
> that your Dr. Brennan would agree. We will not give up that information.
> Move on."
>
> Apparently, cooperation between the officers and the Bajorans only worked
> when it helped the Bajorans. Dais placed a PADD on the table. "OK.
Since
> the information is available to us through your travel records lets
approach

are
> traveling between Bajor and Spacedock?"
>
> The PADD held the information Dais had downloaded earlier in relation to
> Allso's recent travels. While the Bajorans glanced of the flight
itinerary,
> Dais continue. "Let me remind you, gentlemen. You agreed to cooperate
with
> us in this investigation. As you can see, we are sharing information,
> perhaps you should consider doing the same."
>
The Bajoran Security Chief was the first to speak... "This
investigation is now ours. You turned it over to us. We are tolerating
your intrusion to be friendly to our 'friends' in Starfleet. Do not forget
that you are in Bajoran Territory right now."

Joe answered the nasty man. "Your crime happened on a Starfleet facility,
which gives Starfleet sole jurisdiction in the matter. You are mistaken in
assuming that this is now a matter of Bajoran Security. Commander Dais
offered the investigative lead to you, out of respect to your government.
Do not confuse his gesture of respect for a hand off. We, meaning
Starfleet, are very much engaged in the matter, and will be quite happy to
take over completely. Leaving your involvement to answering our questions
and being briefed after we arrest and convict all involved." Joe matched
the smug tone of the Bajoran.

Rivik, the Chief of Staff, saw where this was going, and was determined not
to let it get to the point where a slug fest was the only way out.

"Commanders, please... Understand our position. We have to be very
cautious about our diplomatic privacy. If not for the safety of the
information that is being carried, then for the safety of our couriers.
Now, we will cooperate. However, keep in mind that we will have to decline
to answer certain questions. Now, I am sorry for our reluctance to freely
answer your questions, but this is a very sensative matter. As of late
Starfleet has not had the best luck in keeping certain things
confidential...." he said very calmingly and disarming.

   {response}

"Now to answer your question. Mr. Allso takes a varied travel path,
depending on many factors. Such as if he has to rendez vous with another
ship or diplomatic courier, transport schedules. While this particular
itinerary is a bit odd, it is not all that unusual for Mr. Allso or any
other diplomatic courier." Rivik finally answered.

{OOC: Sorry for the delay}
