Rivik recovered enough to say, "Please excuse us for a moment..." at
which he and Relik left for room for a few moments. Allso remained, but sat
quietly for the others to return. Which they did in short order.
Their return brought with them improved poker faces.
"Cooperation is the order of the day, so we shall cooperate. However,
before we proceed, I will be changing the format of our interview. Mr.
Allso will only answer pointed questions only, and in our cooperative spirit
I will answer your question... proper procautions have been taked to ensure
that biocontamination will not be an issue. Please continue Commander
Dais." His poker face included his tone and mannerisms...
Dais would have liked to actually get to examine the hand, but he was
concerned that if he pushed to hard, the Bajorans would break of their
working relationship. While they were putting for the good show since their
return, he could tell that they were not comfortable.
He turned to Allso. "Mr. Allso, can I ask what your general duties for the
Embassy are?" It was time to cool things down a little.
Tension still being rather high, Allso looked to Rivik before answering. Rivik in
kind nodded that it was ok to answer.
"I am one of the diplomatic couriers. My responsibilities are to transport any
sort of item to Bajor's diplomatic presence."
