He got up and exited the shuttle as if he had just entered Spacedock...
The docking bay was filled with techs and security. Security was clad in
tactical gear, and packing heavy weapons. The station CO was there, Captain
Hays.

"Captain Hays, you are behind schedule, and I am here to get you back on
schedule. Your time table leaves little leaway." Garibaldi said not
bothering with pleasentaries.

"I am sorry Admiral, but I do have good reason..." Hays replied but
was cut off.

"I am sure that you do, but while I care to hear them I do not have the
time. Admiral Lasiter is rather unhappy at the delays. There is a new
threat to this galaxy, and these ships will be needed for the fight, when it
comes. Not if... This threat is big, and it is bad. They make the
Romulans, Cardassians, and Dominion *Combined* look like training exercise."
Garibaldi was rather open about a very classified topic, but there was
method to his madness. He knew that rumors would run rampant, even in this
secure of facility. That would help motovate the crews, as would a few
other things...

Hays' face drained. He knew that was a rush, but not the why. The why
scared the hell out of him...

"Hays, see to it that Jack, my pilot gets what he needs for his craft. My
other assoiciate Selara will need general access to the facility. She will
be helping me with the prodcutivity issues. Please get your staff in the
mess hall in 15 minutes. Selara and I will meet you there. Dismissed,
Captain..." garibaldi ordered with the same unhappy father tone that he had
upon his lack of greeting.

"Aye sir..." Hays replied and left.

Garibaldi and Selara took a stroll...

"I assume that you have a few questions for me?" was all he
said as they walked alone in the halls...
