Joe was impressed. For someone that had never done this before he
was pretty good. Better than some beings that Joe knew who had been doing
this for years...
The mood in the room went cold. Relik was bearly holding back his
anger. Allso's experssion could be summed up with two words: Oh Sh!t....
Rivik, the Chief of Staff, was angered by this as well.
His delayed reply was, "It is illegal to bug transmissions coming
from an embassy of a member world. Which it appears as if you have just
done. We neither admit or deny that this recording is valid- not a
fabrication. We will not confirm that the voices heard belong to anyone in
this embassy. Meeting over... The next time you wish to speak with us, or
anyone else from this embassy, bring lawyers. You will not be permitted to
speak with us without ours.
Relik..." he finished showing just how annoyed he was.
Relik stood, as did Allso. Relik escorted the courier out of the room.
Dais and Joe were able to tell that Allso was a bit scared, or at least
quite nervous. The color from his face drained. Possibly because he knew
his fate, or possibly because he really did not know what was in the box...
