>>"Hello, Charles. I would like to start with you providing us with your full legal
>name."
>>
>> "I don't ahe to answer your questions, Fleet." Charles snapped. His
>>lawyer leaned over to him, whispering something in his ear. Charles made a
>>face, but seemed to be honestly listening, if not liking what he was
>hearing.
>>
>> "Charles Dunleavy." Charles finally answered after a long moment of
>>silence.
>>
>>"What can you tell me about the meeting you were at when you were brought
>>into custody?"
>>
>> "What's to tell? Some associaites of mine were getting together. We
>>were networking. Nothing illegal with that, is there???" came his snide
>>answer.
>>
>>She left out that conspiracy to attack someone was a crime. "What can you
>>tell me about your associates?"
>>
>> "All in all, good folks, I'd say. What else can I say, Commander???"
>>again with the snide answer. He was being polite, as directed by his
>lawyer,
>>but not all that cooperative.
>>
>>"Well, I am curious to hear what you folks talk about." Audra paused for a
>>moment. "Like, for example, how do you and your friends feel about
>>Venasians?"
>>
> "We like them fine." Charles said giving the politically correct answer.
> "We just prefer that they would stay out of our government's affiars. They
>they would be the friends that they are supposed to be and share some
>technology. That they would stop trying to influence our leaders in the
>Federation and at Starfleet." he continued...
>
>"Is there anyone in particular you think is too influenced by the Venasians?"
>
"Lasiter for one, Admiral Garibaldi for another. But there are others."

>
>"What sort of actions have you and your friends made to try and stop the
>Venasian influence?"
>
"Well, alledgedly (sp), we could have used an odd threat, act or acts of
intimidation on certain political figures, marches, letter writing campaigns, or
possibly an odd bombing." Charles just wanted to talk and prove that he was the
baddest thug around, but at the same time, did not want to spend a lifetime in the
pokie either.
>
>"What do you know about the shuttle bombing that occurred a few months back that
>involved Venasian dignitaries?"
>
"I know lots of things about lots of things. The real question is why would or
should I answer your questions?" He said complete with attitude.

Grimes took a moment to comment, "For starters the crime happened on a Starfleet
facility. They can take jurisdiction and prosecute you their self. OR they can take
jurisdiction and then turn you over to the Venasians. Your cooperation will determine
whether of not you serve time on one of our enlightened facilities or serve time at
the whim of the Venasians..."

Charles looked defiant, but his lawyer looked at Firehawk as if trying to read her.
To determine just how deep his client really was or just how far she would go...

   {reaction}
