Charles looked defiant, but his lawyer looked at Firehawk as if trying to
read her. To determine just how deep his client really was or just how far
she would go...

Audra was starting to find Charles annoying. While some would find his
avoidance a threat and force them to back down, she saw it as a challenge. It
was her job to take this creep down, and she was going to do it. It was a
question of when rather than if.

"Mr. Dunleavy, while I am sure that you would love to work with the
Venasians, I am not sure that you understand the gravity of the situation you
have gotten yourself involved in. Your actions have not only helped
distabilize relations with the Venasians, they could lead to war. Now, I am
not going to say I would not be happy to hand you over to them with all the
evidence we have. I am sure that you know you will not be treated kindly. At
least with us, you have certain rights protected by law. The choice is
yours."

Audra had thrown the cards on the table. It was up to Charles to decide. She
was willing to play up to his racism if it meant protecting people, both
Federation citizens and Venasians, from future attacks by this monster.

"I know who planted the bomb, and I know where the explosives came from. "
he finally relented.

Grimes, a tad frustrated by the man who until now had given them nothing,
added, "Could you be a bit more enlightening?"

"Specialist Edwards planted the bomb on the shuttle. The explosives are
Venasian in origin. While, I may be linked to the explosives, I am not their
source. They came from an aide to General A'amon- one of the Venasians that
was in the shuttle at the time the nacell blew. "

"Can you identify which of the General's aides was the source?" Audra ask
while thinking she could not believe that Charles' group was willing to work
with the people they supposedly despised.
