> "Too bad I can't move the department back to Spacedock..." he said quietly
as he noticed some garbage on the floor, obviously ignored.
"Well, there is really nothing stopping you from doing that, assuming that
you have the budget for that in R&D. It will no doubtedly ruffle some
feathers, but that is your call. This is a command within Starfleet that
has been left to its own, quite possibly for too long." Lasiter commented
in return.
Just as he finished commenting, Admiral Hutchinson appeared from around
a corner. He was a older looking man, his age did not match his appearance.
Premature aging was one of those all too common realities of the military
life.
"Admirals, welcome to the home of Starfleet Research and Development, the
fleet's toy makers. Admiral Lasiter it is good to see you again. Admiral
Renaud, it is finally good to meet you. I have heard so much about you.....
I do hope that you both enjoy your tour today." he greeted them. His
mannerisms were polite, but one wondered what his hidded meaning was.
Hutchinson just had that aura about him...
Lasiter nooded saying, "Like wise, Admiral. Shall we begin...."

"Of course where would you like to start?" he asked.
"Admiral Renaud..." Lasiter said leaving that choice to him.
