"They fight like demons. Whick is good for them, as we will send them
back to what ever form of hell they come from.
However, I do concurr. To quote the American, Chief Brody 'I think we
need a bigger boat.' We can defeat them, but it will not be easy. Their love
of the frontal attack will do us well, but once they break through it will be
a hard road.", Polath added.
"I'll take good news any time over bad news. The extra forces we can get.
Especailly since we have more data on the Felinids and the prisioners you
captured. Combined they will go along way to further our cause for more
resource." Black started as the trio began to walk to a place where they could
talk more candidly and more comfortably.
"As for the crew of the Hathor, they are all entitled to 30 days leave
for the loss of their ship. I suppose that we can scare up a ship in that
time. Admiral Kitanya, that may be best left to you. I have the feeling that
if left up to Snellings they will get another scow of a ship. I would do it,
but being one of Snellings staff members, he would get wind of it and muck
things up." Black continued once inside the briefing lounge.

"On other news fronts, your data made it to Cait without incident. While
I have no idea what you said in the letter discribing the materials, it caused
a stir. Just prior to your docking I got a joint communique from the Defense
and Antiquities Ministeries on Cait. They are sending a three member team of
lanugage specialists, and a battalion of warriors. They also said that they
forwarded a preliminary report of their findings to Commander M'Rrenn at SF
Command."

Polath was intrigued by the communication. That was a big step to take for
the Caitians to send a battalion. The help would be appreciated, no matter
where it came from. Well, as long as it was not Romulan of Cardassian. The
Romulans fought without honor, and the Cardies fought like women.
"Here are copies of the report." Black said handing PADDs to both Kitanya
and Polath.
The report confirmed what Kitanya had suspected, that the language that the
Felinid had shared it's roots with that of the Caitian language. Possibly
sharing an ancestor at some distant point. Also included was a detailed DNA
profile. It appeared as if the Caitians and this new race shared more than
just a root language... However, there was also evidence of genetic
tampering. Perhaps genetic engineering or a really advanced and hard core
form of selective breeding program.
