>"Sir, I respect your job, and I respect your rank. I also respect those
>that ordered your here. However, this is not a place where soldiers in the
>field can be distracted by watching over someone not properly trained for the
>field. Our enemy is crafty, and is a grand master at blending in. Carrying
>out their mission while making proper identifications of the enemy and keeping
>their units intact is the only responsibility that my officers are to have.
>My officers and all field officers in this theater of operations. That said,
>sir, if any of my men die because of you or your actions, you will be held

>"You can go on this mission, but with a formal protest recorded in my
>mission log that will be sent to regimental headquarters.

>Captains...." he said, signaling that his part of the meeting was over.

He got into the CO's space just a bit and said in a tone that the CO would be forced
to notice and said very quietly, "Captain...I am not here to endanger your men and I
resent your implication. I was assigned to work with the Captain and Master Sargent
because they are the best-I am here for observational purposes only. I intend to stay
out of your personnel's way as much as possible. If you have any issue with my work I
suggest you contact Commander-In-Chief Admiral Samuel Lasiter at Spacedock. I am sure
he will be happy to talk to you." With that he did an official K-turn and said to his
accompanying officer, "Captain....I will follow your Lead."
