RE: SPD: Lorin gives orders/Dais

There was a strange feeling that came over Dais as the Venasian took the
message. Perhaps it was just a hunch or a gut feeling, or perhaps is was nothing at all, but he got a strange feeling that the message would not make it to the truely 'right person'. However, there was little he could do, or was there.

"I actually need to hand it to the person currently in charge of the Embassy. I know that the Ambassador is off-station, but someone must be in charge." Dais did not like the feeling he was getting from this fellow. He was going to see how much he could get out of this.

The guard's eyes seemed to gaze away, as if his attention was elsewhere. A moment later, another Venasian, dressed identically to the two guards outside except for an added green stripe on her uniform, stepped out the door. For a Venasian woman, she was relatively tall, and bore herself with a rigid, military stance. Though Venasians were a serene people, she looked slightly annoyed. "I am Lieutenant Janaki, and am temporarily in charge of the safety of this consulate. Thank you for your message, Commander. Gentle tides." She took the message, and the dismissal was obvious.

"Ahhh, Lieutenant Janaki ... I am supposed to bring a response to my superiors." Dais was not going to make this easy for Janaki in any way. He did find it interesting that the military was in control of the embassy.here
