"We won't be need accomodations. We have already taking care of that," said Dais. "I did not realize that we are unexpected. I must apologize for that. Would it still be possible for us to arrange a meeting with the new President?"

Audra stood to the side. She was not sure that she liked how this was going. She would have assumed that the Federation or Starfleet would have announced their mission to the new Venasian government.

"There is no need for apology, Commander," the Venasian said pleasantly. "Unfortunately, the General is no longer at this particular Annex. The new diplomatic attache' for this office is present, however. Would you like me to set up a meeting with him?"

"That would be wonderful," replied Dais. "When do you think that could be scheduled for?" Dais wanted to press to meet with A'amon, but he figured he would try the diplomatic approach first.
