"Well, that is my back up option. However, I was thinking about early
retirement. We could offer early outs. Or... send them to the felinid
front. Put them all together on a mission, and hope for the best- a
massacre."
That made her laugh. "It would cerrrtainly lull the enemy into a false
sense of securrrity, putting those puffed up desk-jockeys out therrre.
Well, let's assume that we can't do that, and see if we have the budget to
offerrr earrrly rrretirrements. If we don't we'll have to pick and choose
and 'convince' the worrrst ones to go and figurrre out what to do with the
rrrest. The felinid frrront-" it dawned on her that they were both already
thinking about it as a front of war "-errr, the felinid frrront is an
option. They'll have to shape up orr get killed. Black will whip them into
shape fast, too."
"Seriously, sending them to Black may be an idea worth considering. At
least for those that are capable of being saved. If they don't shape up, I
am sure that I can find something for them until their tour runs out. At
that point, they are gone. We don't have to offer them the oppertunity to
sign up again. The other benefit is that if Black can't do a darned thing
with them, I am sure that Captain Polath can feed them to his targs...."
