"Thoughts?"
Joe answered, "There is definately something going on, but there is no
'real' proof of anything specific. The ice queen back there was not happy
with us either. I still think that you should go back to the Secretary with
Admiral t'Llhweiir. You may get different results."
Audra nodded in agreement. "I am sure that they would be more likely to speak up with
Admiral t'Llhweiir there. There is definitely something up, but I am not sure that we
are going to get anything else from the 'person on the street. The Admiral can also
stand up a little better to the Secretary than three commanders."
"Good, then let's gat back to the ship."
Back on the ship the three Commanders debriefed with Admiral t'Llhweiir. After
considering what they tell her, she decides to attempt to meet with the Venasians
herself. Unfortunately, the Venasians are not too eager to meet again with the
Starfeet officers. The Venasians finally agreed to meet with t'Llhweiir and her
officers two days after the initial contact.
Back on Pacifica, two days later at the appointed meeting time, Admiral t'Llhweiir,
Commanders Dais, Firehawk, Lasiter, and a security detail. On the Venasian government
campus, and outside of the main building Lasiter and the security detail waited as the
others went in for the meeting.
